Description
As adults prepare to enrol for the next season of evening classes the Bulletin addresses the subject of the future of adult education in London after the abolition of the ILEA in March next year. T...he Warden of the Working Men's and the Principal of Morley College give us their views The second item relates to the current shortage of teachers and the projected closure of certain classes, with children having to be sent home. A legal expert discusses what, if any, success a parent might hope for if they sued an education authority for non-fulfilment of their statutory duty to provide education. Finally, the subject of music in school and its status within the national curriculum is discussed.
