Description
The assessment of personality has been the subject of much attention psychologists. At the same time, it is an act which everybody carries out with respect to other people they know or come into co...ntact with, and of course, each individual has some understanding of his or her own personality. The programme sets out to compare personal and intuitive judgements of a particular personality, that of a free-lance broadcaster, Michael Smee, with the findings of three separate personality questionnaires: the Allport - Vernon Study of Values, Catell's 16PF Personality Questionnaire and the Eysenck Personality Inventory. The latter tests were applied by a professional psychologist, Joshua Fox, who is also heard in the programme.
