Description
This radio programme takes a critical view at the arrangements for curriculum control that are manifest in the subject of religious education, which is the one subject that schools are legally obli...ged to teach, and teach according to a syllabus known as the Agreed Syllabus, which is devised by each Education Authority through the agency of an Agreed Syllabus Conference. The programme questions members of such a confererence in Cambridgeshire, which in 1981/2 was engaged in creating its first new Agreed Syllabus in 40 years.
