The programme contains material recorded in Canada during May 1974 and is designed to help students of the course, relate Canadian experience of community colleges to similar institutions which are... emerging now in Britain. The variety of colleges to be found not only within any one province of Canada, but also to be seen from province to province across Canada is described. There then follows a discussion of the respective roles of the federal and the Provincial governments in the development of these colleges. Finally, questions about their financing, their enrolment, and their "drop-out" rates are explored.
