Description
This edition of Education Bulletin is presented by Professor Bob Glaister of the Education Faculty at the Open University. The programme examines the problem of bullying in schools. It is suggested... that the UK (in comparison with the rest of Europe) does not have a unique problem with bullying but that England's current level of one in five experiencing bullying is still disturbing. The programme then goes on to examine the DES Sheffield Bullying Project and in particular looks at two schools which have successfully implemented "whole school" anti bullying policies.
