
Description
There has been a revival of interest in Greek Epic poetry. In this programme, 'Kings' (Books 1 and 2 of Iliad by Homer) written by Christopher Logue, and a modern version of the 'Odyssey' by the No...bel prize winner, Derek Walcott, are explored for their contribution to this revival. Extracts from the plays are included in the programme.
