Description
In this lively programme, Dr. Jonathan Miller and a young hospital doctor are interviewed by Geoffrey Esland. They discuss the social barriers that exist in hospitals between the medical staff and ...the patients and how this is emphasised by the use of their technical language. They also discuss the ways in which Doctors can find social reality for themselves and how they learn to cope with difficult or embarrassing situations - such as gynaecological examinations.
