Description
Through interviews with Michael Berenbaum, Project Director, Shaike Weinberg, Director of the Holocaust Memorial Museum and Martin Smith, one of the permanent exhibition designers, the programme in...vestigates the setting up of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, and the resurgence of interest in the Holocaust as a subject, not least because of the impact of Steven Spielberg's 1994 Oscar winning film "Schindler's List". The programme is also illustrated by archive material of the Museum's dedication ceremony with Bill Clinton and Elie Wiesel, as well as interviews with visitors, both young and old, and extracts from the film "Schindler's List".
