Three of the major world figures in the developmen...t of silicon integrated circuits tell the story from their perspective, in interviews recorded exclusively for the series: Geoff Dummer, the UK electronics engineer who forecast 'solid circuits' in a landmark paper in 1952; Jack Kilby (recorded from Dallas Texas) who was the first to make a silicon circuit, in 1958; Gordon Moore, the co-founder of the Intel corporation in 1968, makers of the first micro-processors, and one of the founding fathers of the micro-electronics industry.
