The first item is about the 'Thermobleep' - an audible thermometer for the blind, invented by two 15 year old girls at C...ardinal Newman School in Luton, for which they have won awards from the Engineering Council. The second item is about Ada, Countess of Lovelace and her work related to Charles Babbage's 'Analytical Engine'. The final item is an interview with Helen Appleton and Priyanthe Fernando from Intermediate Technology, an organisation which works with women in developing countries to innovate for the well-being of their communities.
