Description
Quentin Cooper reports on developments across the sciences. Each week scientists describe their work, conveying the excitement they feel for their research projects. In this programme, almost 150 s...cience students gathered for the Open University's science summer school at Heriot-Watt University. For many, this was the first time they had met fellow students. For almost all, it was the first time they had worked in laboratories with other students. In the programme, Quentin Cooper talks to the students - about themselves and about the summer school. Are they enjoying the experience? Is it as they imagined it would be? How was it going into laboratories for the first time and doing their own experiments?
