Description
Saving Species on BBC Radio 4 explores biodiversity, conservation and natural history, both in the UK and across the globe. In this special programme in front of a live audience we ask "Biodiv...ersity - is there a problem with the word". We question the language used in wildlife conservation and with an invited group of experts discuss whether the words used in wildlife conservation provide understanding and engage the audience. Do we like words like "sustainability", "ecological services", "climate change", and "favourable status" - And "biodiversity"? What does biodiversity mean?
