Description
A series written for the drama slot in Woman's Hour on Radio 4, telling the story of the twentieth century as written in people's diaries.. Hazel Taylor, a young woman from Huddersfield, dreams of ...becoming a freelance writer as England struggles through the postwar period of rationing and rebuilding. Hazel works with her dad in the family shop, but is worried that her mother has eyes for someone else.
