Harry Donaghy attended St Peter’s Secondary School in Belfast and left with no qualifications. He was imprisoned in the Official IRA Compounds (the Maze and Long Kesh Prison) from 1976-80. Harry gained O and A levels in prison and after his release studied at University in Moscow for a degree in Philosophy Economics History and Classical Russian Literature.
