Description
Robert Campbell attended the Boys Model School in Belfast and left with an O Level in Mathematics. He was imprisoned in the Loyalist wings of the H Blocks (the Maze and Long Kesh prison) and in Maghaberry Prison from 1977-1992. He studied Mathematics and Science courses with The Open University between 1980-1992. On his release he gained a Masters degree in Numerical Analysis from the University of London and started studying for a PhD. At time of interview in 2011 he worked with EPIC (Ex-Prisoners Interpretative Centre working with ex- prisoners from an Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF) or Red Hand Commando (RHC) background) in education and p...eacebuilding.
