Description
William has worked in The Open University office in Belfast since 1985 and at time of interview in 2015 was Support Services Supervisor. He graduated from The Open University with a BSc Honours in Social Sciences and holds a BA Honours in Design from Ulster University. William was an Associate lecturer for Design: Principles and Practice. He has been a member of the Ireland Oral History Project now called the ‘Time to Think’ Archive since 2011 and in his role as Audio Editor has edited over 100 interviews and audio clips.

In this clip he describes how despite being personally affected by the Troubles he was still happy to help working on the project and enjoyed engaging with the subject material on the Maze and Long Kesh the wider conflict and education.
