Description
Of all the issues to exercise people's minds in the UK during the first part of the twenty first century, the Euro is one of the most debated. It's divided businesses, unions, families and political parties. But it's probably also one of the least understood issues. What exactly would it mean for Britain to join? What are the economic arguments? And what are the political implications? To try to answer these questions we've spoken to a range of people from both sides of the fence. Ian Taylor is a conservative MP and euro-enthusiast. We asked him whether a single market automatically implied a single currency.
