Description
Side 2: Joe Smith test drives the European Union's policy of sustainable mobility. Can so called sustainable mobility resolve the tensions between transport policy on the one hand, and environmental protection on the other. European Union policies on transport and the environment have a direct bearing on the everyday decisions we make about whether or not to drive our cars, but they're also part of a web of inter-connected decisions made at a local, national, and regional levels, as well as European. All of these have a global impact. Joe Smith sets off on a journey to discover what chance European cities like Dublin have of moving towards greater sustainable mobility, and whether future EU members like Poland can learn from the mistakes of the past.
