Description
Tom Redington, Manager at Connemara Textiles, describes the challenges of the local infrastructure to business. Colm Reagan from Maynooth University attributes the local infrastructure problems as one of the causes of the closure of a large multinational company in the area. Pat Jess discusses the impact of the closure of the large company, and another company, on the dyeing plant in Kilcar and reflects on the importance of links between local industries and the gradual growth of industrialisation in the area.
