Harold Wilson, Baron Wilson of Rievaulx, was a Labour Party Politician who served as Prime Minister 1964-1970 and 1974-1976.

Among Wilson's achievements was the creation of The Open University. This online exhibition uses selected materials from the University's Archive to showcase Wilson's involvement in setting up the OU. It has been created to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Harold Wilson in 2016.

To introduce the exhibition, Robin Wilson, Harold Wilson's son and Emeritus Professor in The Open University's Faculty of Maths, Computing and Technology, has recorded this short video with Lucian Hudson, Director of Communications at the OU.
