This image shows Walton Hall with cattle in the surrounding park belonging to Dr Vaughan Harley. They may be part of his 'Notlaw' herd which he bred at Walton and were so called because Notlaw is Walton spelt backwards. The photograph was taken in 1911 and included in a sale document for the estate.
