Description
Headstone in the graveyard of St Michael's Church at Walton Hall commemorating Charles Bryant Pearse (1854-1875) and his brother Henry Thomas Pearse (1857-1879), sons of Walton's rector Rev. George Wingate Pearse. Both men died abroad. Charles died in Rio de Janeiro after contracting Yellow Fever and Henry was killed at the Battle of of Isandhlwana during the Zulu Wars in South Africa.
