Description
Gary Smyth is from Belfast and left school just before his sixteenth birthday with no qualifications. He was imprisoned in the H Blocks (the Maze and Long Kesh Prison) in 1978 and studied Psychology with The Open University from 1981 gaining his honours degree in 1988. After his release in 1993 he studied for an MSc in Occupational Psychology at Queen’s University Belfast.
