Description
Student B was in the grammar school stream of a rural secondary school and left with some O and A Levels. He was imprisoned in the UVF Compounds (the Maze and Long Kesh Prison) from 1974-79. He studied two Open University courses a year between 1976 and 1979 and graduated with an honours degree in Humanities and Social Sciences in 1980. After his release he completed his PhD and continued to encourage others to be involved in education.
