Description
Louis Blanc was a French socialist politician and historian. His political ideas influenced the development of socialism in France. Following the Revolution of 1848 Blanc became a member of the provisional government. He was later forced into exile and lived in London before returning to France in 1870 to serve as a member of the National Assembly.
