Description
William Henry Milburn was an American Methodist clergyman who was Chaplain of the United States House of Representatives in 1845 and 1853, and Chaplain of the Senate from 1893 to 1903. An eye accident in his youth, followed by poor treatment, resulted in the eventual loss of his sight. Milburn served in several churches mainly in the Southern States of America and New York. In addition to lecturing and preaching in the United States, he travelled to countries including Canada, Great Britain and Ireland.
