Description
Henry Pierrepont was an English diplomat and aristocrat. His father was the 1st Earl Manvers Charles Pierrepont. The ancestral seat of the Manvers was Thoresby Hall in Nottinghamshire. Henry Pierrepont served as Envoy to the Court of Sweden from 1804 to 1807. Pierrepont was styled Lord Exeter following his marriage to Lady Sophia Cecil, daughter of the 1st Marquess of Exeter. They lived at Conholt Park in Wiltshire.
