| Footage description: | This programme concerns the theory and practise of diffusion of new ideas. The programme has three sections. The first describes a traditional agricultural area in Southern Morocco which is scheduled for development following the completion of a major irrigation barrage. The second part of the programme is an animated graphic sequence illustrating the basic points of diffusion theory. The final section of the programme examines, using an empirical study in Morocco by Dr. Piers Blaikie, the relationship of an actual diffusion pattern to diffusion theory. |
