Description
This programme shows how the solution set of a system of linear inequalities can be thought of as a convex cone. The cone is described in two ways, by the set of linear functionals giving the origi...nal system of inequalities and by a set of vectors which generate the cone. This leads to the definition of the dual cone, and with the help of models in 2- and 3- geometric space the idea of duality between vectors and linear functionals becomes clear.
