Finklestein, discusses the absence of conventional school classrooms on Parkway. Psychiatrist William Greenfield explains how he became a part time Parkway tutor. Shots of him taking a class. Lisa Strick explains that efforts are made to recruit volunteer staff according to the stated interests of the students at any one time. John Raynor and Lisa Strick explain the credit requirements which Parkway, as all other High school students, are required to meet. Shots of Parkway from car. Student Alan Berkovitz works in a day care centre for pre-school children for a social studies credit. Scenes of him with children. He describes the work and his assessor Mrs. Sobers how she evaluates it. Finally John Raynor asks Leonard Finklestein about Parkway's success at the cognitive level.
