Stoll looks at the jurisdiction of the court and what judgement was reached in the can case. Roemer, an advocate general, explains how the case was conducted and why he disagrees with the findings. Shots of court. Stoll and Barber discuss the implications of the ruling and how the Treaty of Rome has been interpreted. Borschette explains how the ruling will effect the Commission and British firms contemplating take overs and mergers. Hodder, from Metal Box, looks at the implications for the businessmen, which he regards as adverse. Barber sums up on the main points of the programme. |
