Description
Teacher and composer, David Bedford, examines some problems of the relationship between composer and audience, against the background of two quite different musical occations. First, we visit the A...ldeburgh festival where composer Richard Rodney Bennett talks to David Bedford about his attitude to an audience while, he is engaged in composition. We hear part of Bennett's new composition 'The House of Sleep' and some of the Aldeburgh give us their reactions. We then move to a Sunday" afternoon rock concert at the Round House in London's Chalk Farm. We see Edgar Broughton performing with his band and bear h;im taking to David Bedford about his attitude to his audience.

Bedford talks to Broughton on the Round House patio about song writing and performance. Edgar Broughton and band in concert singing 'Out demons out'.
