Connell describes various influences; Michelangelo, architects of the International movement. He describes how he understands the design of the house. Baker continues to describe High and Over, focussing on the entry facade, the roof garden and plans to explain the design. Standing in the grounds, Baker sums up his impressions of the house. Another house by Connell in Haslemere is looked at briefly. Baker describes the design and there is a lengthy quote from 'Architectural Press'. Moor Park in Rickmansworth, designed by Basil Ward, is discussed in detail. Baker describes some of the strange design elements, using plans and shots. Baker continues describing Moor Park, looking at the roof, the use of pilotis and other hallmarks of the modern movement.
