Footage description: The three extracts from the play which comprise the programme are all from Act I. The first and last of these extracts show George (a Professor of Moral Philosophy played by Michael Hordern) dictating a paper on the existence of God. The middle sequence is by far the shortest and shows George being questioned by a detective about a murder.
