Description
This programme shows, without commentary, the life of people and priests in a parish in the West of Ireland where the population is 100% Roman Catholic. We first see a priest administering the Sacr...ament of the Sick to an old lady in her home. Then we see the market, part of a game of hurling, and part of the Religious Instruction class at a local school. The priests are fully part of the life of the parish - we see one of them singing at a village social. Next morning he leads his congregation in the celebration of the Mass and Holy Communion. The film ends with the baptism of the newest member of the community.
