Footage description: | Pip Youngman demonstrates the assembly of the HEK dealing with linkages. John Cannell introduces the programme. Cannell relates the velocity diagram for the Hy-Mac 580 front end equipment to the displacement diagram for the same equipment. For the rest of the programme John Cannell, seated with a drawing board, constructs the acceleration diagram for the Hy-Mac 580 front end equipment. He uses measurements from the velocity and displacement diagrams (above) to calculate new data for the acceleration diagram. |
