Footage description: This is part of a film called "The Nightcleaners" made by an independent film-making group called the Berwick Street Collective. The film attempts to show the conditions under which night cleaners work and in an effort to depart from standard cinema conventions the Berwick Street Collective adopt new techniques of film making. In Radio Programme 15 of this course two members of the Collective talk to Janet Woollacott about how and why they made the film.
