Description
This programme on working with asbestos is a classic example or a material valuable to industry and to the economy which has emerged as a major health hazard. The programme examines the various att...empts to control the hazard and discusses with doctors, epidemiologists, industrialists and government safety officials the difficulty of arriving at the acceptable level of exposure to asbestos dust. It also looks at some of the mistakes of the past, at what is being done at present and at how the problem will be with us for some time into the future despite current controls.
