Act out scene to investigate. Model volcano erupts, truck drives to rescue, stopped by rocks. Gets to house, all the family into the boat. Model boat into the pond. Film Footage Pierce Brosnan leads family into aluminium bottomed boat. Aluminium gets attacked by sulphurous lake and disintegrates. Family just manage to get to other side. (02'20") Presenters in garage, equipment laying around; Bowl of heated water, conical flask with boiling sulphur inside, tube from flask to water bubbling through water. Film Footage Volcano erupts. Lava flows. Presenters in garden. Film Footage boat travelling across lake. Presenters put piece of Aluminium into solution in a conical flask. Nothing happens! Heated up flask. Vigorous reaction. Hydrogen bubbles. Film Footage Propeller drops off, eaten away by acid. Fizzing aluminium in beaker. Cut to bowl of hot solution. Aluminium foil 'paper' boat. Boat into solution. Reacts slowly. Reacts quickly. (06'50") View from Acid Cam. Bubbles. Gas. Hydrogen Gas. Aluminium boat sinks. Film Footage boat sinks after family get out. Shot of dissolving fizzing aluminium in bowl. Jokes.
