Description
The central irony of the novel 'Huckleberry Finn' is that freedom is an illusion and that that illusion can create a temporary happiness. Barry Chambers of the Open University shows that the conven...tional literary view of 'Huckleberry Finn' as a flawed masterpiece is misleading. He shows that the novel is, in fact, carefully structured and worked out and that each incident conceals a complex and ironic significance.
