Description
Surviving buildings indicate that wealth-creating activities in the countryside were as often industrial as well as agricultural. This programme looks at industrial and agricultural buildings in Fr...ance, Scotland and Ireland. We examine buildings which provide evidence of grain milling and linen production in Brittany, wine-making in the Loire Valley and brewing and stock raising in Scotland and Ulster.
