Description
As the title implies this programme looks at the application of policy at a large urban comprehensive school. In addition to hearing from policy makers at various points in the hierarchy in the sch...ool, we also see and hear from the students. An important aim of this film is by means of actuality footage to present the viewer with a flavour of the place, thus for instance, we eavesdrop at one point on the Head of the lower school as he deals with a truant who has just returned during the mid-day "surgery" which he runs in his study daily.
