Description
This programme shows how classroom behaviour is categorised, recorded and then analysed. A commentary upon the non-verbal behaviour of the teacher is given which highlights a number of features of ...categorisation. Recording behaviour is demonstrated by using a Love & Roderick schedule. The problem of analysing the data from lesson sequence is then raised. An analysis is provided in commentary together with a brief discussion of the findings. The programme concludes by raising the question about the adequacy of relying solely on one approach to recording and analysis.
