This programme provides an overview of some key topics in developmental psychology. Firstly, experiments which display the infant's ability to recognise rules, faces and biological motion are exami...ne. Secondly, it shows the role parents play in structuring their infant's learning experience. Finally the programme looks at older children and shows that although they display a wide range of cognitive and linguistic skills, their social understanding still shows significant defecits.
