Description

Planning and learnin...g issues: a comparison of 2 contrasting approaches to planning the primary curriculum. the first teacher plans using integrated topics and themes, the second teaches individual subjects separately. -- 3. Whole school issues: An examination of one school's attempt to plan as a whole staff, to ensure coherence and continuity for their pupils. -- 4. Planning to meet individual needs: A 'day in the life' of a reception class, focussing on how support for particular children's needs and interests can be planned for. -- 5. Reviewing learning: We return 10 weeks later to one of the teachers featured in section 2, and follow the class as they review their work and begin to evaluate their learning.
