Description
This programme attempts to link the local with the global and uses as an example the City of Birmingham. It looks at some of the issues, conflicts and complexities that arise when health (in its br...oadest sense) is raised in the wider public policy sphere. As an opener to the debate, an everyday example of roads development is used. The programme aims to show how the pursuit of health and well-being can mean very different things to different groups and asks how do we decide whose views should count or how do we achieve a balance between these views.
