Description
Although California's Death Valley is not typical of the world's great deserts, in this limited area we are able to observe all the important desert processes and determine which are likely to be p...reserved in the geological record. Combining this information with that gathered from wind tunnel studies of aeolian bedforms, we move to Utah's Zion National Park to see if we can prove that these Jurassic sandstones are the result of aeolian deposition in an ancient desert.
