Two of them describe their work and give their views on the new system. Shots of a supervisor at work. She is responsible for a small group of secretaries. She explains why she likes the new system. Another administrative secretary expresses opinions on the reorganisation. Office scenes, over which Cass briefly explains why Texaco implemented this new system of clerical and secretarial support. Two managers and an administrative secretary express reservations about the changes. They complain that the new system is more impersonal than the old. Interview with Norma Klinger who explain the benefits resulting from the changeover in some detail. The programme ends with film of her arranging the installation of word-processors in a new office. |
