A new system which will provide real-time monitoring of volcanoes by satellite is being developed by researchers at the OU and will be available within three years. The system, led by Professor Fab...rizio Ferrucci in the Faculty of Science, will monitor volcanoes across the world and provide early warning signals of possible eruptions.
