Ground-breaking research at The Open University is helping to shape a more equal society and transform the future of people’s lives on this planet. Four remarkable research projects were shortlis...ted for the People’s Choice award, where we invited the public to vote for the project that most inspires them. We are thrilled to announce that the Human Trafficking research project received the highest number of votes and will receive the People’s Choice award. In 2022 we embarked on a new research mission to address three crucial societal challenges: Enhancing Environmental Sustainability / Tackling Inequalities / Helping Everyone Live Well.
